Dr. Rokeisha Clare-Kleinbussink

Short Biography

Dr. Rokeisha Clare-Kleinbussink completed her medical training at the University of the West Indies, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She pursued postgraduate dermatology training at the Welsh Institute of Dermatology, Cardiff University School of Medicine (Wales, UK), where she obtained a Diploma, a Master’s degree with distinction in Clinical Dermatology, and a Doctor of Medicine degree.

In The Bahamas, Dr. Clare-Kleinbussink currently practices at the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) Dermatology Clinic. She has also served as an associate lecturer in Dermatology, teaching undergraduate medical students and, upon request, postgraduate students in Emergency and Family Medicine. She played a key role in establishing the Tele-Dermatology Clinic, expanding access to dermatology care across the Family Islands, including Andros, Abaco, and Long Island.

Her clinical interests include psoriasis, acne, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, pigmentary disorders, skin cancers, hair disorders, skin of color, and aesthetic dermatology. Dr. Clare-Kleinbussink is actively involved in research, regularly attends international conferences, and has delivered multiple local and international presentations focused on quality of life in dermatologic conditions.

She holds Level 1 and Level 2 certification with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and is a member of the Caribbean Dermatology Association (CDA), the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), and the British Association of Dermatology (BAD). She is also the founder of the Dermatology Bahamas Group (DBG).
